The idea is simple. I guess most of us will agree that coldfusionbloggers is a defacto instance that tells us how much movement there is in ColdFusion Community for a particular day by the number of posts that are agregated. Yes, not all there are 100% relevant but still this is an estimate. At least the best i could think of.
So, starting on 03-07-2011 i started time to time to ping cfbloggers and calculate the number of posts for each day. The numbers may not be fully accurate taking in mind time difference, downsides etc, but still should be pretty close.
So, i took that numbers and put on a chart getting so a kind of pulse of the coldfusion community.
This being said, please welcome cfPulse

Again, though, thanks for it, and great idea.
(PS: Oh, and to the anonymous person who proposed tracking videos per month at ugtv, I'll just note [since I run that] that it wouldn't be a really good measure. Very few people think to post videos there. I'm sure far more are created than are tracked there. It's up to the community to post things, and I make it easy, as no registration is required, but I do also credit whoever posts a recording. So I do indeed wish more people would, and I thank those few who do, on behalf of the community.)
