There are some reall problems with this. For example, take the #2 site. If I got to Alexa and enter "http://investor.ebay.com/releases.cfm", it tells me that "ebay.com" is the #20 site. But not all (or even much) of ebay.com is running on CF. In fact, if I open a command prompt and type "nslookup investor.ebay.com" it returns a name of "webcenter360.shareholder.com" which has the alias of "investor.ebay.com", which means that page isn't even running on ebay servers at all!
If I then go down the list to "http://www.fedex.com/us/investorrelations/", it turns out all of the CFML links on that page are to "ir.fedex.com". Well, "nslookup ir.fedex.com" return "client.shareholder.com", too. So let's try "nslookup ir.homedepot.com"; yep, it also returns "client.shareholder.com".
So it looks like ebay, fedex, and home depot are all outsourcing their investor relations pages to shareholder.com. To imply that ebay, fedex, and home depot are among the "top 100 CF sites" is misleasding.
I've worked for eBay, and although CF is used quite heavily internally
the actual auction site doesn't use CF at all.
To my surprise though the ros.reuters.com, I wrote that. :) I used to work
for REUTERS as well.

Of course Vince (of Blue Dragon) would have a problem with your rankings.... only one of those sites is Blue Dragon (and it's the crappiest one who is converting to .NET!).
I can say where CF is only being used on a portion of the public websites (fedex, home depot, ebay, etc.), a lot of those fortune 100 companies are _extensively_ using Adobe ColdFusion behind the firewall.
Don't settle for imitations...
