Additionally exists the movies Night Watch and Day Watch based on the first 2 books of the series. The movies are very good too, but just.. a bit different. So watching those movies and reading the books it's different. Worth to do both things.
I really mean it... If you want something different, read that books and/or watch the movies.
The "Night Watch tetralogy" is Horror/Fantasy novel that contains little to no science and tons of fantasy.

yes. i agree with that. Some other of his books have more Sci-Fi while this one is mostly on Fantasy :)
But still it's a great series and as i understand you've read this and i believe you liked it too ;)
I only wish English translations of more of his books were available - otherwise I may just have to learn Russian to read them all :)
Lukyanenko's some other books are even better. Some more into sci-fi, some more into fantasy, but all great. good for me that i know russian well :)
